- Google Jigsaw have added seven new bridging attributes to their widely-used Perspective API. Details here.
- A state-level bill, Minnesota HF 4400, would require social media platforms to use ranking systems that optimize for content that "a varied set of account holders indicates is of high quality". See the full text here.
- YouTube are trialling a new feature based closely on Community Notes. Announcement here.
- X are hiring two engineers to work on Community Notes. See here and here.
- Most of the finalists of the Prosocial Ranking Challenge are testing some form of bridging. Descriptions here.
- We updated our summary of what is publicly known about Facebook’s experiments with bridging in comment ranking. There was more there than we thought! Matt Motyl, who did much of this work while at Meta, also spoke publicly it. See his talk here.
